Varnish 6.3, Hitch & HTTP/2

Is varnish http2 feature ready for a production server? Or is it still 
experimental?

Would I need to setup Hitch for http2, too?

# Enable to let clients negotiate HTTP/2 with ALPN. (default off)
# alpn-protos = "http/2, http/1.1"
